Benefits
Equine Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes electromagnetic waves to stimulate cellular function in horses, promoting healing, enhancing performance, and potentially improving overall well-being.
Reasons For Use
-
Pain relief and inflammation reduction
-
PEMF therapy is known for its effectiveness in reducing pain associated with chronic conditions like arthritis and injuries.
-
It can help alleviate discomfort in horses by promoting blood flow and reducing inflammation.
-
-
Faster recovery and wound healing
-
PEMF can help speed up recovery from injuries, surgeries, or intense workouts by promoting cellular repair.
-
It may also accelerate the healing process for wounds like cuts and abrasions.
-
-
Improved circulation and detoxification
-
PEMF is known to enhance circulation, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissues and remove waste products.
-
It may also support cellular detoxification.
-
-
Reduced muscle tension and enhanced performance
-
PEMF can help relax muscles, potentially improving flexibility and reducing strain during activity.
-
By improving circulation and reducing muscle fatigue, it may also enhance performance.
-
-
Joint and bone health support
-
For horses with joint issues, PEMF may reduce inflammation and improve mobility.
-
It could also stimulate bone regeneration, which may be helpful for horses recovering from fractures.
-
-
Stress reduction and relaxation
-
PEMF therapy can have a calming effect, potentially reducing anxiety and improving focus in stressful situations.
-
-
Support for other conditions
-
PEMF may be beneficial for issues like laminitis, breathing problems, digestive health, and skin conditions.
-
Applications along the topline have been proven to increase the effectiveness of the horse's parasympathetic system- the one that handles stress!
-
It might also improve hoof health by increasing blood flow to the hooves.
