Hello!

Thank you for checking out StrideRight Wellness, LLC!  My name is Caelyn Medler, and I am the founder and owner of SRW. I have been training and working with horses ever since I can remember and absolutely love everything about the equine species. In 2020, I began working at a local veterinary clinic and pursued my passion for animals by working as a veterinary assistant and completing a degree in veterinary technology. While working at the clinic, I was also training barrel horses and restarting OTTBs (off the track thoroughbreds).

 

Although my love and knowledge for all animals continued to grow while working at the clinic, I began my journey as an entrepreneur in 2024. In July, I officially opened CM Performance Horses, LLC- an equine training and consignment business while still working full time at the clinic. I recognized a huge need for equine trainers and market professionals and knew I could develop this business into something that could not only fill a noticeable void in the equine world, but fill a void that I was missing in my life as well. Giving horses the opportunity to grow, flourish, and excel in a safe, progressive environment is something that has given me so much purpose. Connecting amazing clients to horses that have new purposes has been nothing short of fulfilling, and that's what keeps me going!

As CM Performance Horses, LLC continued to develop, I quickly realized that equine wellness was practically inaccessible and therefore overlooked where I live. As an equine business owner with multiple equine athletes in training every day of the week, my horses were in need of wellness support- no different than you and I going to the chiropractor or buying that massage gun to use on ourselves. When I reached out to other equine wellness businesses to get my horses feeling and performing at their best, I ran into a few major inconveniences.

1. I had to haul my horses over an hour to get any type of support service.

2. Most businesses were booked out well over a month.

3. It was going to cost my business over $600 to get two horses scheduled.

4. Most businesses offered one service and I wasn't sure if  each individual horse would actually benefit from what was being offered.

Being a numbers person, I did my research, and asked myself, "Why are most equine wellness services inconvenient, overpriced, and so individualized? Why can't multiple services, with the true "Support With a Purpose" motive be offered at a price that makes it feel like a part of a horse's routine care- no different than scheduling your next appointment with your farrier. I felt that all of these inconveniences added up and, in return, made equine wellness feel like a service that was unattainable for me. After reaching out to many other equine owners and professionals, I realized most have underwent the same experience and I knew there was something I could do about it.

So..... well, I'm sure you've connected the dots by now. At SRW, my number one mission is to bring equine wellness services to your companions and athletes at a price that doesn't make it feel like a total luxury or burden. Taking care of your horse's health should never be a daunting task on your to-do list, it should never cost more than a weekend at a show, and it should never be out of reach for anyone with an equine partner.

SRW offers equine wellness modalities and services that are used with a purpose. Equine wellness is not a "one size fits all" scenario. With my extensive background in equine health and business, rest assured I am continually striving to open new doors, make new connections, and for the sake of the horse, take care of the partners that take care of us. ​​​
